For the display in the GUI, the Studio seems to be looking for this folder and files contained within.

I do not have these folders anywhere in my freshly installed warcraft. Does anyone else? The program is very nice but it is difficult to build a user interface when I can't really see the tools beyond their basic empty frames. Is there somewhere I can download it?

Thanks for that post, I had the same problem too, having Black frame around everything and not actually showing the item.

I found Interface/DialogFrame/  and a whole host of other files at the following Blizzard URL:

I extracted the contents of the file to my Interface folder, and voila, Interface/DialogFrame, and the ability to see what I was making!

Do you mean: C:\Program Files\AddOn Studio for World of Warcraft\Interface  ??

The difference is that DialogFrame is buried in the mpq files, which this version no longer reads correctly.  The interface toolkit has those files extracted from the retail mpq data files for you, and for aos.  This is the reason for the confusion in this discussion.  Those files normally dont appear as individual files in Interface in a retail copy of wow.

There is a newer version now: which uses vs 2010, and where all of these issues have been resolved.
